Stafford's two award-winning parks have been transformed into colourful floral tributes celebrating major milestones for local organisations. Victoria Park and Stonefield Park are showcasing specially designed displays using around 800 plants in a kaleidoscope of colours. Victoria Park features the Stafford Rangers Football Club logo in flowers, marking the club's founding in 1876. Stonefield Park displays a special design honouring 50 years of Girlguiding's 'A Handful of Songs' show, which has entertained hundreds of Guides from Stone and surrounding villages.

Both parks are renowned for their seasonal floral displays and hold prestigious Green Flag awards, which recognise them as some of the best open spaces in the country. Over the years, the Stafford parks have created designs marking significant occasions including VE Day, the King's coronation, NHS workers, and armed forces veterans. The latest displays continue this tradition of honouring important people and organisations within the community.

Councillor Gillian Pardesi praised the floral tributes, saying tens of thousands of visitors will get to enjoy the vibrant designs. "It is great to be able to show our appreciation to local organisations that have reached key milestones in their history," she said. The displays demonstrate Stafford's commitment to recognising the contributions of long-standing local groups.

Residents and visitors to Stafford can enjoy these stunning floral displays throughout the summer months at Victoria Park and Stonefield Park. The colourful designs offer a fitting tribute to Stafford Rangers Football Club and Girlguiding's significant achievements in the local community.
