Stafford Borough Council is pressing ahead with major pathway improvements at Westbridge Park's popular playground in Stone. The work starts Monday, June 8th and is expected to take up to four weeks to complete.

Parents should be aware that some play equipment will be out of action during the improvements. The council has arranged temporary access to the play area off Stafford Road, which will be clearly signposted. Portable toilets will be installed on site since the main facilities won't be available while work is underway.

Fencing will be erected around the site during the construction period. The timing has been deliberately chosen to avoid major disruption to families in Stafford — the work begins after half-term but before the school summer holidays start.

Residents using Westbridge Park should plan ahead and use the temporary access arrangements. The improvements to the pathway around this popular Stafford attraction are expected to enhance the play area for local families once completed.
