Tourism and hospitality businesses across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent can now enter the 2027 Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent Tourism Awards competition. The awards, now in their thirteenth year, recognise outstanding people and businesses in the region's £2.7bn tourism sector.
The competition is open to attractions, venues, accommodation businesses, restaurants, pubs and cafes competing across 21 categories. Entry is free for any tourism or hospitality business located in Staffordshire, including Stoke-on-Trent.
About the Awards
The awards were previously known as the Enjoy Staffordshire Tourism & Good Food Awards. They are organised by the Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP), the region's accredited tourist board, in partnership with VisitEngland.
Arthur Barnard, LVEP Chair, said the 2027 competition continues to grow, with last year seeing the highest number of new entries. The awards provide an opportunity for Staffordshire businesses to recognise their teams' work and to qualify for the national awards.
Martin Murray, Leader at Staffordshire County Council, said the county's tourism and hospitality businesses play a vital role in showcasing Staffordshire and supporting local jobs and the economy.
Jane Ashworth, Leader at Stoke-on-Trent City Council, encouraged local businesses to enter and celebrate what the city has to offer.
How to Enter
Applications must be submitted online before Monday 6 September 2026. Details of the 21 categories, registration for webinars and workshops, and application information are available on the Visit Staffordshire awards webpage.
