Residents across Stafford Borough are being reminded that household bin and food-waste collection days will change around the August bank holiday.
Stafford Borough Council says revised collections will operate from bank holiday Monday, 31 August, through to Saturday, 5 September 2026.
Which Stafford bin collections are affected?
The changes apply to green, blue and brown bins, as well as household food-waste collections across the borough.
Individual collection days will vary by address, so residents are advised to check their revised date before putting containers out.

Residents can enter their address using Stafford Borough Council's online collection-day checker.
The temporary timetable covers the six days following the bank holiday. Normal arrangements will resume after the revised collection period.
