More than 120 apprentices are invited to celebrate their achievements at Staffordshire's annual Graduation ceremony on Tuesday 14 July. The event takes place at the County Showground in Stafford, bringing together apprentices, their families, local employers and training providers to mark the end of their training.
The Stafford graduation ceremony has been running since 2015, with over 1,200 apprentices having graduated to date. Places are still available for this year's event, and registration closes on Wednesday 24 June for anyone wishing to attend the celebration.
Apprenticeships remain vital to the Stafford and Staffordshire economy. In 2024/25 alone, nearly 10,000 people started an apprenticeship across the county. Demand is particularly high in Health and Social Care, Construction and Green Skills sectors. Recent changes now allow apprentices to complete training in as little as 8 months instead of 12, offering a faster and more flexible pathway into work.
